	Kenji, Greetings from America, and hi to Suimin also. I have neglected to write for a long time now, so I have much news to share. I was sick the night I was to play at my cousin's wedding reception, so unfortunately I was not able to perform. During the Spring I worked at a Renaissance Faire selling ocarinas for a nice man named Fred Harris who makes pendant ocarinas with the 4-hole English tuning. I showed them your ocarina, and they were very impressed by its versatile range and rich timbre. In my carelessness, and because I have it with me almost everywhere I go, I have broken it twice now, but each time I have carefully glued it back together, so it still plays, and it is still a very treasured possession. I have also pursued guitar over the past couple of years, and I hope to play in a garage band with some friends of mine eventually. They are very enthusiastic about my ocarina, and they want to encorporate it into some form of modernized Celtic rock. I was wondering if it would be too much trouble to ask you to make another ocarina for me. If it is, then I understand, because I know you are encouraging musicians to make their own instruments. I did not have enough money to purchase a second one when I expressed the interest earlier this year, but I have been fortunate at my job, so I am very interested in buying a larger alto ocarina, as well as another soprano in C if you will sell me one. If I can ever afford to travel to Japan, it would be a great honor to meet you someday, or perhaps even take an ocarina making class from you. 	I am a Percussion Major at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. I have been playing music for well over 9 years, and have just recently discovered the fun in playing the ocarina. The timbre of its pitch mathces beautifully with some of the things we as students do with our percussion ensemble. I love your site man, especially because I'm trying to learn the ocarina, and you have a lot of helpful suggestions. The only thing I can offer as a musician is that when you use Solfege to identify notes, you have So written for the dominant of the scale ( C I'm imagining because you have nothing else to address it by), when it is in fact Sol. Also, you have listed as the leading tone of the scale (i.e. C) Si, when it is actually Ti. Other than that, I found a lot of things on your site informative. Understand please that I mean nothing in any way sarcastic in my statement above, because from what I understand this site is translated from Japanese, and there could very well be a mistake somewhere in the translation process. Thank you again for your advice on playing the ocarina.

Actually, when I looked at dictionaries (technical one for music and general one), I found that there are couple of spellings and pronunciations for notes of G and B (in German, they call it H). G corresponds to "So" or "Sol", B to "Si" or "Ti". I understand that Do Re Mi... is derived from Italian and French, that's is why there are multiple forms I guess. I did not know which is used more commonly. Because you who play music say Sol and Ti, now I think Sol and Ti are more common (at least in USA). Anyway, thank you for letting me know about it.
